Música en las Montañas

Ishirini is delighted to be participating in the tenth year of the Música en las Montañas Festival in Las Alpujarras mountains in southern Spain.
Our performances will include a variety of sacred and secular music, by Spanish composers such as Victoria, Guerrero and Morales as well as others such as Tavener, Kodaly and McGarr. We are particularly pleased to be performing the première of a new commission by Alan Charlton, member of the choir, based on fragments of poetry by Lorca.
