Ishirini (Swahili for 'twenty') is an ensemble of 20 singers, trained in the college choirs of Cambridge.

Ishirini was formed to promote music education through international exchange. In response to demand from local schools, we are currently organising a tour to Tanzania for Easter 2009.

Breaking news: Successful concert

We are very grateful to the Furaha choir and the wonderful audience of our concert on the 22nd of February for helping to make the event such a success. The money raised from the concert will be a huge help towards the costs of the festival we will be participating in, in Lushoto in April.
