St. Mary's packed for Ishirini's concert

Thanks to huge efforts on behalf of the local community in Netherbury, the concert on the 10th of April had a large audience who were very appreciative of our music-making.

Various pieces were singled out for praise, including the Allegri ('better than on the radio'), Brian's piece ('beautiful, just how did you put it together?'), Hamba Lulu ('such fun'), the plainsong at the beginning ('you could have heard a pin drop inside') the Gibbons ('when you started singing I thought - wow - this is an amazing choir, we're in for a treat').

Thanks to all our audience for making the evening so special, and for all our new supporters who took an interest in the history of the choir and its fundraising efforts for its partner choir, Upendo.
