Ishirini will be joined by Upendo on the 17th July in St. Andrew's Church, Stapleford for a joint concert, Hamba Lulu.
Regularly drawing audiences of up to 10,000 in Tanzania, Upendo are national stars and their infectious music will have you singing and dancing in the aisles. New music commissioned specially for the occasion combined with English and African secular and sacred song will provide a thrilling fusion of Tanzanian and English choral music.
Proceeds from the Stapleford concert will support Upendo's philanthropic work, creating education, employment and training opportunities for young people in Tanzania.
