Tour to India announced: April 2011
Plans are progressing well for Ishirini's second tour, this time to India in April 2011. In Kolkata we hope to collaborate with the Mathieson Music School, a school for deprived children, and Union Chapel. We are also planning to have a second leg of the tour in Darjeeling.

Ishirini will be joined by Upendo on the 17th July in St. Andrew's Church, Stapleford for a joint concert, Hamba Lulu.
St. Mary's packed for Ishirini's concert
Thanks to huge efforts on behalf of the local community in Netherbury, the concert on the 10th of April had a large audience who were very appreciative of our music-making.

Plans for Upendo tour to the UK taking shape
Upendo will sing with local schools in Birmingham, London and Cambridgeshire as well as in Stapleford Cambs with Ishirini in July 2010. More details soon...
Concert in Netherbury announced
Ishirini are delighted to announce that they will be singing in St. Mary's Church, Netherbury, Dorset on the 10th of April 2010. The concert will include a performance of a rare and infrequently performed manuscript that was discovered in the bell-tower of the church having lain undiscovered for centuries!
Ishirini and Upendo to sing Zimbe in Birmingham in July
As part of their UK tour we are very grateful to Lichfield Cathedral School for hosting Upendo in July 2010. Workshops with schools will culminate in a performance on the 2nd of July in Birmingham Town Hall, which will also include a performance of Alexander L'Estrange's vibrant tour de force Zimbe!.
Through the Looking Glass review
The concert on Sunday generated a lot of interest in our partner choir Upendo, for whose tour next year the concert was fund-raising. We're very grateful to all the support our audience showed.

Reunion concert fixed for 20th September
Ishirin's first reunion concert, after their very successful tour to Tanzania this Easter, will be held on the 20th of September in Queens' College Chapel, Cambridge. Thanks are again due to the Dean for allowing us the use of this wonderful space.
