Florence tour - August 2018
Ishirini visited Florence in August 2018. We enjoyed rehearsing in our lovely hotel in the hills above Florence, Villa la Stella, before performing a recital in San Marco church.
We enjoyed visiting the sights of Florence as well as celebrating mass in Orsanmichele church.
We finished our trip with a recital in the cloisters above the Biblioteca Laurenziana where we were happy to see the Medici Codex, a manuscript given as a wedding present to the nephew of Pope Leo X, in which several of our pieces were found.
