Upendo have the children at Fulbourn Primary School dancing in ecstacy within minutes. The children absolutely love it, and it's wonderful seeing the joy Upendo have brought with their music. It's hard to pull ourselves away at the end of the morning.

At lunchtime we rush over to Addenbrookes hospital to sing at a special lunch for long-serving volunteers, at the request of Dr Mary Archer. Another fascinating experience for all of us – and yet another demographic enchanted by Upendo and unable to resist their foot-tapping “Bam bam”. Yes, Upendo have this dynamic group of pensioners jumping to their feet to dance. So much for the English reserve – will anyone remain unmoved during Upendo's tour?!
